Performed day to day coordination management activities at Regional level with reporting to the East-Ukraine Field Coordinator; Served as liaison and coordination support between WHO, local health authorities, Red Cross and other in-country actors involved in management of the situation in East Ukraine, and identifying/address needs as required; In collaboration with the local health authorities, with guidance from the East-Ukraine Field Coordinator, regularly conducted coordination meetings focusing on the operational planning and implementation requirements to successfully integrate WHO policies into existing primary health care system; Facilitated deployment, training, formal reception, and set up of Emergency Primary Care teams members, ensuring that trainings are provided to incoming teams on a regular basis; Maintained an overview of the situation in the region and ensure that updates are provided on a regular and timely basis; Brought to the attention of and coordinate within the WHO technical team so as to ensure optimal support to current operations (e.g. logistics, IPC, clinical care, epidemiology and data management). Assisted in carrying out health situation assessments in the Region, as well as other sites, as needed; and actively engage local partners and stakeholders into both the assessment and response. Detected any significant changes, new threats or emerging trends bringing them to the attention of the Field Coordinator; to contribute with information for regular reporting to the Health Cluster partners; Assisted in the monitoring of the health status and health risks of different population groups (including gender and age), analyzing access to and availability of health services; Collaborated with the National Field Coordinator in the context of coordination meetings with all relevant partners by preparing updated health information.
