• Patrols and maintains security of the EUBAM office premises and grounds, including overnight guard duties, and reports any irregularities to the Security Officer;
• Responds to emergencies affecting safety of the premises and notifies supervisor and emergency services. Immediately undertakes all appropriate actions to respond to emergency;
• In event of any emergency follows the procedures outlined in the EUBAM Security Plan;
• Conduct after-hours security inspections for the building security, fire security, and safety purposes;
• Checks that all office machines, air conditioners, lights, etc., are turned off after working hours;
• Controls admissions of authorized personnel and movements of project property into and out of the premises;
• Makes sure that all office doors and windows are closed during night-time;
• Controls entrance of visitors only through the main entrance or through the back yard entrance after the visual identification of the individual has been performed;
• Maintains Book of Incidents;
• Monitors all office keys while on duty;
• Keeps track of all outgoing and incoming vehicles beyond the office working hours;
• Assists receptionist in attending the guest and directing them to respective staff;
• Screens EUBAM unlisted visitors with the metal detector;
• Backstops EUBAM HQ Receptionist during her absence;
• Performs other duties and functions requested by the supervisor.

Deter and detect crimes in the assigned area of responsibilities. To commence investigation to the fact and follow up till certain extent reach.
