Enumerator (Post-Distribution Monitoring)

ActionAid works through a wide range of local partner organisations in the nexus, prioritising young people’s leadership, civil society development, women’s rights and leadership, the protection of at-risk groups and minorities, as well as humanitarian assistance. 

About the role
ActionAid Eastern Europe is seeking an Enumerator to conduct Post-Distribution Monitoring (PDM) as part of an ECHO-funded humanitarian project. The assignment aims to collect high-quality and reliable data on the use, relevance, and satisfaction with the assistance received. Data will be collected through structured phone interviews with approximately 300 respondents, in line with the approved sampling and methodology.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct structured phone interviews with aid recipients and analyzing the collected data.
• Complete PDM questionnaires in KoboToolbox in accordance with the approved data collection tool.
• Ensure high data quality, including accuracy, completeness, and logical consistency.
• Filling out PDM questionnaires in KoboToolbox in accordance with the approved data collection tool.
• Maintaining confidentiality, informed consent, and ethical standards during data collection.
• Daily reporting to the coordinator on completed interviews, refusals, and issues encountered.

Candidate requirements

• Previous experience in conducting phone surveys, PDM, or working as an enumerator.
• Confident use of KoboToolbox or willingness to quickly learn the tool.
• Fluency in Ukrainian.
• Strong communication skills, politeness, and sensitivity when interacting with respondents.
• High attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Strong commitment to confidentiality, safeguarding, and ActionAid’s feminist humanitarian values.

Duration & level of effort

• Up to two weeks in total, including training and implementation.
• Expected level of effort: 10 working days.
• Start date: ASAP.
