The Procurement Administrator/Expert, in close coordination with the expatriate project team, will be in charge of the following activities:
- Manage all purchases of goods and services of the project and prepare the necessary documentation for the implementation of the procedures foreseen for purchases (quotations, tenders, tender evaluation, contracting, etc.) according to the procedures foreseen by AICS, EU PRAGs
- Ensure the correct accounting and administrative management of the project;
- Carefully verify expenditure and payments to suppliers according to approved procurement plans and processes, purchase requisitions and purchase orders;
- Manage relations with the bank and relevant tax agencies and institutions;
- Manage general accounting: input of purchase invoices, preparation of documentation for purchases, archiving of accounting and tax documentation, in accordance with the lender's procedures;
- Supervising the flow of administrative information
Requirements: - Previous experience in humanitarian organisations
- Perfect knowledge of English
- At least 3 years' experience in administrative and financial management (planning and monitoring) of international cooperation and humanitarian aid projects abroad;
- Demonstrable experience in planning and managing procurement of goods and services;
- Demonstrable experience in planning and managing budgets and external audits;Knowledge of PRAG and AICS administrative procedures;
- Numeracy and excellent computer skills (Excel)
