General Manager

On behalf of our client, a FinTech company at the forefront of financial innovation, delivering secure, compliant, and scalable solutions to an international client base, we are seeking a General Manager to drive execution, strategic alignment, and cross-functional leadership.

This role represents the most senior operational position in the organization and reports directly to the founders/shareholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of company strategy and execution, reporting to shareholders
• Own company-wide P&L, budgeting, and team performance
• Guide compliance, finance, marketing, and legal departments
• Oversee risk and regulatory adherence across all operating jurisdictions
• Monitor and assess risk levels per volume-generating partner/channel
• Support business development and ensure long-term commercial scalability
• Lead public positioning through marketing and social media campaigns
• Act as a company representative in banking, regulatory, and legal meetings
• Manage remote teams and systems for efficient performance

Travel Requirements 

• Candidate should be open to business travel every 3–4 months for team meetups or project-related coordination within the EU.

Salary & Compensation

• Salary & Compensation Starting salary: USD 4000 based on qualifications more is possible.

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years in crypto, fintech, or regulated payment businesses
• Experience running or scaling operations in a licensed business
• Strong knowledge of EU VASP/EMI regulatory frameworks
• Comfortable balancing compliance discipline with high-risk client realities
• Background in risk management, recalls, compliance, and performance KPIs
• Track record of managing fully remote and cross-functional teams
• Fluent in English; additional EU language is a plus
• Based in Europe or operating in EU time zones
