If our values match yours, we encourage you to apply! We are currently looking for a Remote Medical Appointment Scheduler for a medical clinic in New York. This is a fully remote, part-time role.
Important candidates should watch training videos, read manuals, complete training with the team lead, and perform a simulation call with the clinic's manager. The training covers extensive medical topics, including doctors’ availability, insurance coverage, clinic specialization, and other clinic information.
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally (around 50 calls per shift).
Schedule and confirm patients' appointments using the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
Assisting patients with appointment schedules/requests, including medication, transportation, and authorization.
Check and interpret insurance eligibility results using the EMR system.
Provide excellent customer service to patients and other callers.
Collaborate with on-site front desk staff to ensure seamless operations.
Responding to patients' questions.
Rescheduling, moving, and distributing appointments as needed.
Ensuring that patient profiles are complete with the required information.
Sending consent forms to patients.
Working hours
The fixed schedule is Monday to Thursday from 2pm to 7pm, and a short duty on Friday from 2pm to 5pm (New York time zone).
Additional hours may be available by working on Saturdays or covering a colleague's shift.
Compensation:
The position offers a competitive monthly salary. During the training period, compensation is $4 per hour, which increases to $6 per hour upon completion of the training and passing the test.

Proficiency in English and Spanish (speaking Russian will be an advantage).
