QA Engineer, Ukraine, remote

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our dynamic software development team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and specifications.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases to thoroughly evaluate software functionality.
- Execute manual and automated tests to identify bugs, defects, and performance issues.
- Utilize X-ray for Jira to manage test cases, trace requirements, and track test execution progress.
- Employ various testing methodologies such as STD (Software Test Description) and TRD (Test Results Description) to ensure thorough and systematic testing coverage.
- Think creatively and critically to identify potential edge cases and unusual scenarios that may impact software quality.
- Continuously monitor and improve the quality assurance process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide timely and accurate feedback to developers and stakeholders on software quality issues.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Specialist or similar role in software development - Manual testing - 1 year. Will be a plus - Experience in Automation test
- Proficiency in using X-ray for Jira and Testim (Tricentis) for test case management and automation (preferred but not required).
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including STD and TRD.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to think creatively and "outside the box" to uncover potential issues.
