Electrical (Low Voltage) Engineer

Gleeds Ukraine LLC is currently looking for positive and open minded Electrical and Low Voltage Works Specialist wishing to gain local and international experience and build his career in construction sphere.

Requirements:

• relevant education
• good command English
• excellent computer skills (MS Office)
• experience and knowledge in the following sections:
  • electrical (high voltage, medium voltage utilities)
  • low voltage (including computer networks, BMS etc)
  • fire safety systems (optional, but it will be an advantage)
  • earthing
  • lightning protection systems
  • other systems related to power (like for example, trace heating systems etc)
• knowledge of pricing and budgeting of the above systems 

Responsibilities:

• Involved in a project from the concept and detail of the design to implementation, commissioning and handover;
• Identify requirements of the customer;
• Read technical drawings and design specifications;
• Research appropriate solutions and estimate timescales and costs;
• Liaise with other team members, contractors and clients;
• Attend on site meetings;
• Prepare Project technical brief, give presentations and writing reports.
• supervise the team assigned to perform the electrical and low voltage work service;
• Checking the compliance of the performed work with the contract scope. Identify additional work and report;
• Preparation of investment guidelines for electrical works for the needs of the investor, designers, consultants and contractors (Project Brief);
• Preparation, work management and cost engineering (Value Engineering) for electrical work;
• Identify key critical elements for investment in electrical installation work and manage activities to reduce or eliminate risks;
• Preparation, management of work and tendering procedures for the selection of consultants, contractors, suppliers of materials and equipment and other participants in the implementation of investment project related to electrical installation;
• Coordination and management, control and preparation of regular reports on electrical aspects relating to design, formal, financial, contractual, quality, health and safety issues, etc. for the needs of investors and funding institutions;
• Coordination and management of the phase of completion of construction investment in electrical installations, including Receipt of electrical works, troubleshooting. The evaluation of the completed construction works for the completion of the investment.
