Legal Counsel

Partnerway is the one-stop shop for optimizing your spending on cloud and software subscriptions.

We’re looking for a commercial Legal Counsel to join our global legal team and report to the Head of Legal. You will play a key role in contract lifecycle management and negotiations, legal research, cross-functional alignment, and legal operations. You’ll be expected to work closely with Sales, Partnership, Finance and Product teams to support business goals while managing legal risks.

What you’ll do:

• Draft and negotiate SaaS agreements, NDAs, partner and vendor contracts, and DPAs;

• Conduct legal research on commercial, product, and regulatory requirements across fintech and SaaS markets;

• Assist with basic corporate and investor matters (resolutions, cap table updates, filings);

• Support global corporate structuring, including tax-related and fintech matters;

• Support fintech product compliance with guidance from the senior legal team.

What we're looking for:

• 3+ years of experience, including at least 1-2 years in-house in a tech company or law firm;

• Strong drafting and negotiation skills;

• Fluent written and spoken English;

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage tasks independently;

• Assisting with research and analysis of potential legal risks in the company’s jurisdictions of operations;

• Assisting with the implementation of legal Compliance in the various areas of business operations (data protection, marketing, payment, consumer rights, etc.).

Nice to have:

• Exposure to fintech regulations (e.g., e-money, AML/KYC, financial licensing);

• Experience supporting multi-jurisdictional corporate structures;

• Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, or other privacy frameworks;

• Hands-on experience with CLM or workflow tools (e.g., PandaDoc, Notion, Jira).
