The Medical Advisor is responsible for supporting the design, implementation and execution of Medical Affairs plans for assigned Therapy Areas, providing scientific information, designing & organizing educational dialogue with KOLs, assuring efficient cross-functional collaboration and partnership with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• In close collaboration with BU leaders and other internal stakeholders as relevant, define how to move from current-state to desired-state, through the formulation of medical affairs objectives and priorities - consistent with the long-term interests of the organization.
• Support implementation of medical plans aimed at delivery of strategic operational goals of the business in close cross-functional collaboration.  
• Apply medical knowledge to add value and uphold the scientific integrity of our products in the context of clinical practice and standards of care.
• Provide medical information to external stakeholders and cross-functional partners. Ensure medical enquiries are responded to in a high quality, timely manner, and in accordance with applicable standards.
• Establish and maintain professional and reliable relationships with opinion leaders/external experts in the relevant therapeutic field in order to obtain support for the implementation of Sandoz scientific and educational programs.
• Provide healthcare professionals with scientific materials and data on the company's products for the preparation of educational programs. 
• Ensure medical materials provided from global or region for stakeholder engagement and events are tailored to local needs and reviewed/approved per local/P3 guidelines.
• Conduct medical review of promotional and educational materials and events in accordance with legal requirements and Sandoz SOPs. 
• Provide medical expertise of local PILs created by the Regulatory department and medical expertise for new molecules in collaboration with the business.
• Ensure core medical processes within legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

Minimum requirements: 

• Higher education (medical/pharmaceutical).
• More than 2 years in a similar position in a large pharmaceutical company.
• Experience in publishing scientific articles, working with scientific information.
• Ability for analytical and conceptual thinking, ability to work with a large amount of information.
• Profound presentation and communication skills, experience in preparing and conducting presentations, skills in translating medical documentation.
• English - upper-intermediate (written and oral).
