Survey and quality control during inspections before welding and after welding: dimension of construction, alignment of construction's members, quality of welding, performance of joints, preparation of surface of welding joints, on block stage and building berth according to specification, drawings, class requirements, requirements of SOLAS and IMO and standards IACS and CSQS.

Inspection of: position of block on building berth, shaft alignment, draught marks installation, principal dimension, lightship measurement, sea trials.

Secondary functions: survey and quality control during patrolling to check carrying out works according to procedures and agreements.
