A CRM/ERP system for a Canadian real estate startup

• Role: backend engineer
• Team (up to 8 people): Project Manager, UI/UX designer, 2 frontend engineers, 2-3 backend engineers, DevOps engineer
• Tech stack: Laravel (BE), React.js (FE)

My responsibilities included database design, architecture of the monolithic application and REST API design, and integration with 3rd party APIs. Implemented core functionalities for the product’s release and first major extensions.

Continued working with a team of backend engineers and provided help with implementing test coverage and maintaining the software in production. Occasionally provided mentoring and guidance to a teammate.

Achievements: successfully launched the product (which brought value to the customer), actively added significant features in a quick release cycle during the following year. Now the system is being further developed and expanded with new functionality.

A business tool for a German state company

Responsible for implementing an enterprise software solution for managing sales and stock of goods. Designed the database structure and the REST API, implemented complex business logic with customizable order pipelines (for different categories of goods etc). Integrated the system with the clients’ website.

Achievements: the developed software is being used in production and maintained by other engineers in the company.

Provided maintenance for various Wordpress websites. Extended clients’ own plugins and themes, and fixed software bugs; helped with migrating. Set up a few websites and landing pages for our clients.
