Journalist / Editor

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 1 year of experience working in news media
• Fluent command of the Ukrainian language and familiarity with the latest official orthography
• Ability to distinguish high-quality news from sponsored or biased content
• Creativity and the ability to work with different formats of content presentation
• A strong understanding of audience interests, especially on social media platforms
• Attention to detail, efficiency, discipline, and a willingness to learn continuously

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creating and editing news content in accordance with editorial standards
• Managing a large volume of news: selecting stories, fact-checking, and avoiding paid-for materials
• Writing concise yet creative headlines
• Adapting content to match the interests of audiences on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and other platforms
• Collaborating with the editorial team, participating in topic planning and discussions
