Infrastructure Project Manager – Shelter Reconstruction Program

Our partner is an international non-governmental organization supporting Ukraine’s recovery through projects in sustainable construction, infrastructure rehabilitation and energy efficiency. The organization works in close cooperation with Ukrainian public authorities and international partners to strengthen resilience and accelerate post-crisis reconstruction.

As part of a multinational shelter and civil protection initiative, the organization contributes to the construction and rehabilitation of protective shelters for schools, healthcare facilities, and other critical public infrastructure across Ukraine.

To further strengthen this work, our partner is opening the position of Infrastructure Project Manager – Shelter Reconstruction Program, based in Kyiv.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage infrastructure project implementation within an international multi-partner framework

• Coordinate construction and rehabilitation works across multiple sites

• Ensure compliance with Ukrainian building codes (DBN) and international safety standards

• Collaborate with local authorities, donors, contractors, and implementing partners

• Oversee budgeting, timelines, procurement, and risk management

• Integrate principles of sustainability, inclusiveness, and energy efficiency into project design

• Support capacity building for Ukrainian partners and stakeholders

Candidate Profile

• University degree in civil engineering, architecture, or a related technical field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure or construction project management

• Proficiency in AutoCAD / Revit / BIM is an advantage

• Strong knowledge of Ukrainian building norms (DBN) and safety regulations

• Experience with international or donor-funded projects is a strong asset

• Fluency in Ukrainian and working English (B2 or higher)

Location: Kyiv, with travel to regions affected by conflict and reconstruction
